Hi everyone!

This has definitely been one of my favourite shoots to date for The Style Status.
Found this awesome spot to shoot in the city, that is literally a three minute drive from where I live! :)

You guys can pretty much guess what items I have been obsessed with since the beginning of the year so let go ahead and dive into Part 2 of my Spring 2016 Style Essentials!

First up is my favourite trench jacket! I have received countless of compliments about my jacket last year and this year and alot of people are always surprised whenever I tell them where I purchased it.
I love traditional colours for iconic fashion pieces, but since I was looking for trench that could pair very well with bright colours and dark colours this trench was perfect, not to mention the material is amazing and looks like it was $100 +. I always try to look for well structured cuts and materials that have a good density, versus what you find in typcial fast fashion stores like Forever 21, but of course this trench was an exception.

Second is the standout outerwear trend ; the bomber jakcet. Whether solid, printed, silk or perforated styles the bomber jacket is the easiest trend to incorporate into your spring wardrobe. I ordered this bomber  last year and I was so happy I got to bring it out this year.
I love styling it causally with distressed jeans, long spilt tunic tops, crop tops, culottes and fitted midi dresses, strappy high heels and (my favourite) sneakers!

My last style essential is; the open toe block heeled shoe. I was searching high and low for the Franco Sarto versions of this shoe but no luck in either colours to my disappointment :(
This shoe pairs well with everything I have in my wardrobe (especially my work wardrobe)
Amazingly they're extremely comfy and managed to wear them almost for an entire shift at work. Just like the bomber jacket you can style this shoe easily with distressed jeans, long spilt tunic tops/sweaters, causal/dressy dresses, leggings, wide leg pants and skirts (fitted and A-line).

I hope you all enjoyed reading style essential list.
I pretty much live in all the pieces almost every week, so I hope you had some inspiration to update your own spring wardrobe!

Thanks for reading,

Have a great week!

Christine
