Hi everyone!

I'm happy to announce my second collaboration on The Style Status and the first with Zaful!
While we all wait for the cold weather, the only way to embrace it is to acquire warm layering pieces.

The first thing you should do is invest in great knitwear!
This grey sweater I'm wearing is not only warm but it has an interesting cut.
Look for knitwear that is wool blended, so you have optimal warmth, when layering under a dress coat. If you allergic to wool like me, look for chunky knits that also help you stay toasty! :)

Also SCARVES! I always carry an extra scarf in my car or at work, and I can't be seen without one.
I love this minimal stripe black scarf cause it provides warmth and instantly dresses up an coat.

Along with picking good pieces to keep you warm, you cant have an stylish winter #ootd without great accessories. For the first look I opted to add a pop of silver to my grey outfit with this awesome double buckle belt! I've absolutely fallen for western/rock inspired looks this F/W (but of course in black and white) For my second outfit I went with classic black and white with a pop of camel.

Camel coloured anything is a must for the new minimalist wardrobe! I paired this look with just the hint of these beautiful gold bracelets and watch, to pull together the warm tones.
I'm always a person who tends to match my jewelry to my bags and accessories (i.e gold accessories to gold hardware) I find it helps create cohesive looks.

Thanks for reading and stay warm my friends, winter is coming!
